Courtney Standifird, MSN, FNP-C, CCRN

Courtney Standifird is a certified Nurse Practitioner through the AANP. Courtney earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Northern Arizona University.  After attaining her undergraduate degree, she worked with children in CPS group homes as well as a serving as a case worker with the SMI (Severely Mentally Ill) population.  She later obtained a degree in Nursing from Baptist Health System School of Health Professions and was employed for over 9 years at both bedside and in management in hospital based intensive care unit.  Courtney earned her Master's degree in Nursing from Grand Canyon University and has been working at G&K Medical Associates since 2017.

Utilizing a holistic approach to medicine, Courtney is passionate about the work she does and enjoys working with patients to help improve their quality of life both physically as well as mentally. She takes the time to listen to her patients to initiate a rapport so that together they can formulate an individualized, effective plan of care based on the patient’s unique needs.

Born in the Northwest, Courtney lived in the Midwest prior to relocating to Arizona with her family in 2000.  An athlete from early on, Courtney competed in both distance swimming and running.  She continues to enjoy running, hiking, biking, swimming and working out at the gym. Family-oriented, Courtney is the mother of two young children who are the center of her world. She loves doing activities with them and takes them on little adventures as often as she can.
